The heat transfer device of the mixing tank has various types of weapons. A heating coil is installed in the tank to heat and cool. However, the heating coil installed in the tank is easy to accumulate and hang on the material containing solid particles and the viscous material, which not only affects the heat transfer effect, but also increases the resistance of the stirring liquid. Therefore, the jacket is usually heated or cooled. The spacing between the jacket and the body varies depending on the nominal diameter of the container, and is generally 50 to 200 mm.

The jacket is provided with heating and inlet and outlet of the cooling medium. If it is heated, the heating medium is usually steam, the inlet pipe should be close to the upper end of the jacket, and the condensed water is discharged from the bottom. If the cooling medium is liquid, the inlet tube should be placed at the bottom so that the liquid enters from the bottom and the upper portion flows out. Sometimes, for larger reactors, in order to obtain a better heat transfer effect, a spiral baffle is installed in the jacket space to increase the flow velocity of the medium and avoid short circuits.

The jacket type of the reactor varies depending on whether the heat transfer medium in the jacket is a liquid or a vapor. When cooling water or hot kerosene, in order to increase the heat transfer coefficient of the outer jacket, a spiral baffle is arranged in the outer casing to increase the flow velocity in the circumferential direction; when heated by steam or hot kerosene steam, a general outer jacket type is adopted; When high pressure steam or the like is used, the half-cut tube outer jacket type is used to reduce the thickness of the reactor body.

There are various types of heat transfer devices inside the tank. When a heat transfer tube is provided in the tank, it is considered that the reaction product is not easily prevented from adhering, and the reaction product is not easily adhered. For reactors that require a large amount of heat exchange, only the heat transfer device is not provided in the tank, and heat exchange can be set outside the tank.
